WHERE AMAZING THINGS HAPPEN
Do you know why a salmon swims upstream against the current? The life of a salmon is particularly hard. It enters the sea at only two years old and grows first by eating plankton and then, herring and other small fish. After only four years of life in the sea, it has an irresistible urge to return to its birthplace to reproduce. So it points itself unfailingly in the right direction in order to reach the stream where it was born. Once it reaches the mouth of the river, the salmon heads upstream fighting against the current and climbs up waterfalls by jumping several metres at a time. Out of every shoal of salmon, only a few reach their goal.
