THE PROJECT MANAGER
The project manager, who oversaw construction and finishing, was James Stagg, a world-famous sailor who was part of the British team that participated in the 2013 America's Cup; in 2017, he led the shore team of Ben Ainslie Racing, the squad set up by the eponymous Olympic champion with the objective of stealing the America's Cup from the Americans and bringing it back to the UK, where it has not been seen since 1851.
